 Joe Bass

Joe Bass has been tattooing in the PNW for nearly 20 years. He grew up on the West Coast and graduated from Arizona State, where he studied literature and art, in 2000. He was drawn to a sustainable, working artistry and promptly began learning to tattoo. He and his family moved to Portland in 2004, where he worked under Dave Gaggero, and began tattooing professionally in 2005. His work has been published in international magazines and books, and he has been the decade-long owner of a successful studio in downtown Portland. Always happy to take on a challenge, Joe brings a diverse set of skills and decades of experience to Dreamboat Tattoo. While he has a personal leaning toward colorful, illustrative, and Japanese influenced work, Joe is well versed in most genres and has extensive experience with large-scale projects.

Coral Bass

Coral Bass grew up in the PNW, and came of age in a tattoo shop. If you are looking to have a true, local northwest experience, look no further. Immersed in tattoo culture all his life, he began working in his dad’s tattoo shops by 14 years old. He has been solely focused on tattooing and honing his craft for the last several years. Laid back and willing to tattoo almost anything you throw at him, Coral has a preference for traditional and neo-traditional styles—usually with a twist. Growing up around tattoo, his artistic expression is unique, steeped in a childhood surrounded by tattoo imagery and personalities—his experience goes beyond his years. Coral is currently working at journeyman rates and is happy to discuss discounts for larger projects.
